#5 Green Update

Last night's much needed rain was well received on the golf course and most importantly on #5 in the recovery process from last week's aerification.

This Morning (Tuesday June 9th)

 

 

This morning was the 4th cut on the green since aerifying and with the beneficial rain to knock the sand into the canopy, I can start slowly bringing down the heights to restore #5 to the consistency of the other greens.  With the forecasted higher temperatures leading into the weekend, recovery and ball roll will continue to improve; however speeds will still be effected as I slowly drop heights in preparation for next weekends Robert White.  Thanks for the support and cooperation for allowing us to take on this endeavor in season, it will work wonders towards the remainder of the summer months.
